“Still other seeds fell on good ground, and they sprouted, grew, and produced a crop that was thirty, sixty, and even a hundred times as much as had been planted!" Matthew 13:8 | |
The vision of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, St. Paul Province and Presbyterian Homes and Services is to build Carondelet Village as a resource to not only those living at the Village but also to seniors living in the surrounding community. Carondelet Circle will provide a gathering space to support the therapy, entertainment, education, spiritual care, and socialization of residents and additional community seniors. This requires not only construction costs beyond those supported by the residents, but also significant staff and programming costs to ensure that participants are safely engaged and using these spaces.
The Chapel, a consecrated Catholic place of worship, invites philanthropic support, along with beautiful, accessible, and specially-designed common spaces (art rooms, library, music studios, roof top garden, conservatory, therapy pool, medical examination rooms, therapy centers, dining rooms, etc.). All exceed minimal requirements in order to enhance the quality of life experience for residents and participants alike.
The assisted living memory care residence requires additional support and safety features built into the unit design and décor beyond traditional settings. In addition, there is a great need for support of research and design throughout the community and The Circle that will continue to inform us as we strive to improve service delivery to those with memory loss. These are just a few examples of why philanthropic support is needed to make the dream of Carondelet Village a reality. The On Good Ground Campaign supports the specific wishes of each benefactor when accepting gifts for the benefit of Carondelet Village and The Circle.
